Livin' The Dream

On our way to unwind after work today, I spotted this poster on the wall of a building. Obama=Superman!!  I love the neighborhood I work in on the Lower East Side.  It is so "New Yorkie."  Boutiques, restaurants, night life...it has it all. Aubrey and me with our supervisor (and friend), Jen.  Me and Jen with my favorite teachers at the high school, Adrienne and Carole.  They are so great! This is Aubrey.  She and I both go to Columbia and are learning to be rock star therapists together. Blurry, but happy. Rachel and I go to Columbia together.  She was kind enough to invite me to share her Birthday with her.  So, after the fun with my coworkers I headed to the Upper West Side.  Adrienne and Carole drove me to the restaurant.  Driving up, I realized that was the first car (other than a cab), I had been in since July of last year.  That is a crazy thing for a California girl!   Not sure what Bill is doing here...being Bill I guess.  Make a wish, Rach! Central Park is amazing.  Katie and I spent all day there and still did not see all it has to offer.

Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day.  I went with my friend Katie to see the new movie, He's Just Not That Into You.  It was really cute, and it was great spending some time with Katie. In the evening, some of my girlfriends and I got together for dinner.  I think I want that to become a Valentine's Day tradition...spending February 14 with the girls.  Hopefully it's a tradition that will not last very long though...lol.   I am getting so excited to go home for Spring Break in March.  I haven't been in California since last July.  I miss it terribly!  

My friend Rose and her sister Melody came to New York for NYE.  We froze but had the best time ringing in the New Year in Times Square.  Happy 2009 everybody!! My special friends, Bill, Katie and Penny took me to Little Italy for my Birthday.  We had such a great time.  Thanks, guys!!
