So I am all moved to the DC area and I am doing my best to settle in. Moving from NYC to suburbia has not been the easiest adjustment but I am doing my best and counting my blessings.

About Me

Very Zaneta: I began my blog when I moved cross country to attend graduate school in NYC. I was dreaming so big back then, setting goals well beyond what most thought I could accomplish. At that time I wrote to keep my nearest and dearest up to date. I wrote to make sense of things. I wrote in hopes that my honest journey, in some small way, could be helpful to others. I imagine that's why I am digging back in. I find a lot of clarity through writing. And that comes whether folks will read it or not. Introspection and meaning making are some of my favorite past times and most useful coping tools. I want to remind myself of the person who had dreams bigger than her strength and who went after them even when people didn't believe in her. Even more so when people didn't believe in her. After all, I am still living the dream!
